Gary Oliver Seiden

     December 25, 2024

It is with great sadness that we post of the passing of Gary Oliver Seiden.  Gary boarded his “Final Flight” suddenly of a heart attack in his sleep on December 25, 2024.   The news of his passing came as a shock to family and friends.

We know Gary would like to be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, son, and especially friend. Gary was a people person, outgoing and sociable. He loved nothing more than spending time with family and close friends whom he considered his family, always happily sharing stories about his worldwide travels and adventures.

Gary loved his job as a flight attendant, which was truly his calling. He could start a conversation with just about anyone, picked up the native language to near fluency in whatever country he spent time in, and always loved discovering the best food that the locals were eating. He could tell you where to find the best sandwich, salad, freshly made pastry at any airport in Europe and he was usually right. He liked cooking for his friends and created many of his own recipes. He always remembered to wish family and friends a happy holiday and birthday and appreciated those that remembered him. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends.

We think Gary would love nothing more than to have his family and friends post a happy memory of him below.

May his memory be a blessing.

It is with heavy hearts we are letting you know that retired United States Air Force Colonel, and World Airways Pilot, Edward Neal McKinney boarded his “Final Flight” on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 12:42pm at BAMC (Brook Army Medical Center) in San Antonio, Texas.  Neal arrived at BAMC on November 8, following an accidental fall from a deer stand on his ranch near Dublin, TX.  The fall resulted in a spinal injury that resulted in the paralysis of his lower body.

“Since arriving at BAMC on November 8th, he fought a courageous battle. He had a life well-lived, he fought the good fight, and yesterday Nov. 23rd at 12:42pm (CST), he no doubt experienced a glorious homecoming hearing “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” He was surrounded in love and prayers from family & friends as he was ushered peacefully into heaven. We loved him, will grieve his loss and hurt without him, yet rejoice he is with his Savior.”
